Pre-Engagement Consultations:

Our website mentions that we provide a “free initial consultation.” This complimentary initial consultation consists of up to 30-minutes of phone conversation to learn more about why you seek legal counsel, your overall goals and timeframe, and to generally assess if Panakos Law may be the right fit. Our general process is to perform a quick online intake to collect the basics to assess whether we can even consider addressing your specific inquiry prior to scheduling directly with an attorney. If so, a free consultation with one of our managing attorneys will be offered through a scheduling link sent by email.

Capabilities During the Consultation:

During this initial consultation call or meeting, prospective clients have the chance to discuss their matter directly with a managing attorney. This helps us understand you and your business better, including your goals and requirements. We aim to pinpoint the relevant legal areas and potentially identify the specific legal services and estimated costs that may be incurred in our representation of you or your business in the specific matter.

Limitations During the Consultation:

We do not provide legal advice, opinions, guidance, or any other legal services during this initial consultation. Our Firm policy strictly prohibits the provision of any services until we have officially been engaged through a formal written engagement agreement.

Post-Consultation:

We hope to gain your trust and business following the consultation. However, this preliminary session comes with no obligation or expectation for you to engage Panakos Law, APC for your legal services. Please note that following the free initial consultation, any further communications will be charged at our standard hourly rates unless we are formally retained or a fixed-fee representation has been agreed to.
